LT1 350 with the following commentary excerpts from Joe:
14.008 @ 98.7 before the LT4 thing. Headers, 2600 stall, TransGo, 52mm, UD pulley, Hypertech and 3" exhausts with no cat's. My 60's were terrible even with BFG 315's...1.6 RR too...
Then came the trick "stuff", LT4 city.  I spent a winter doing all the head work, myself. Did a lot of porting and polishing on the new LT4 heads. That's where all the HP comes from. Steve Cole did my PCM and that put the kick in my butt. The HOT. cam, was the remainder of the trick stuff.
My first runs were 13.5's and I was disappointed. I went back to Steve for some heavy duty programming. Hypertech would only let me rev to 6000. The potential was at 6000 and above. I shift at 6800, hit the limiter at 7000. My second trip to Pomona was the winner 13.116 @ 105., backed up with a 13.170 @ 106.
