| GENERAL: The ECIRS Championship Series is ET Bracket
Racing Only. No Heads up
rounds will count toward points. The racer with the most
points at the end of the season will be the ECIRS
Champion and receive an impressive trophy along with all
the bragging rights. This Championship Series was created
to promote participation within and between the SS clubs. Due to the generosity
of our sponsors ECIRS membership is free. You have to
cover the track fees and regular race day cost yourself of course. This is all about
fun and good sportsmanship. Join us by
registering with the ECIRS director (Jon Thorn) at mailto:jthorn@clark.net Points are totalized from your best of 6 ECIRS events. You can race at all of the events but only your 6 highest point earnings will be included for your total. The ECIRS Double Points Finale will be added to your best 6 races. 30 points are awarded for completing the 1st round of any event, (win or loose). 10 points are awarded for completing each round after the 1st round, (win or loose). 21 points are awarded for winning the Final round of any event, (10 points for the runner-up). In a 4 round race, for example, first round losers receive 30 points, second round 40 points, third round 50 points, runner-up 60 points and winner 71 points. There will be no vacation points for the 2005 season. The final race of the season will be for double points. These points will be in addition to your best of 6 tally. |
